Planning a return to routine care…

It seems there may be a small light at the end of the tunnel. With states beginning to talk about what a return to business will look like optometry returning to routine care again is on the horizon. Are you ready?

Over here I am starting to make plans for tentatively starting to see patients again in the next couple of week and with us being in a new normal there are lots of things to think through. In the video I am talking through just a few of them.

I’d love to hear what you are planning and thinking of starting, stopping or changing in your office. Email me at sam@themoderneyesite.com or leave a comment telling me what your thoughts on re-opening are. Can’t wait to read them!

What about paper charts? I don’t take medicare so I have not needed an EHR up to now.

I’d say now is a great time to make the change. Since paper charts are going to be nearly impossible to disinfect… and you’ve probably got the time to figure them out now since patient volume will be low for awhile.
